Asian Inspired Buckwheat Noodles
When I set out to make these buckwheat noodles I wasn’t really sure what I was going to make but somehow it all came together beautifully. This is a ridiculously easy recipe that everyone loved and I will make over and over. The beauty of it is that you don’t really need to measure anything, just eyeball and adjust the seasonings to taste. Choose one spice to be your dominant taste and use the other ingredients to enhance the flavor of the dish. I served this with some stir-fried veggies and it made the perfect dinner.
Ingredients:
1-pack organic buckwheat noodles
Chili powder (this is very, very spicy so start with just a tiny pinch)
Ginger
Turmeric
Salt
Butter
Extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
1. Cook the buckwheat noodles according to the directions on the package.
2. Toss the noodles with about 1 tablespoon of butter.
3. Add your spices and salt to taste.
4. If the noodles begin to dry out a little add just a touch of olive oil.
5. Toss and enjoy!
